As most of my readers know I am an avid reader and Amazon offers a lot of free and cheap books. I love reviewing on Amazon and sharing what I think about products just as I do on my blog. The best device I have found so far for reading is the Kindle Fire HD 6. You can purchase yours here for only $99. My only compliant is I would have liked a little larger screen but a larger screen means a significantly higher price and the trade off for me just wasn't worth it. The Fire has changed my life I can read books I never thought I could find or afford. It has truly opened up a whole new world for me; a world of reading!

Jesus Sees Us was created by two mothers of preschool children looking for an engaging and relatable way to introduce Jesus and share  their Faith with their younger children It includes a soft body Doll with a hard molded head and a hard covered Lesson Book. It is best suited for children ages 2-6 ad my 4 and 6 year old absolutely loved it and were full of questions.

The Doll has a warm and loving face and inviting, open arms that mirror the image of the illustrations in the Lesson Book. The Lesson Book includes illustrated Biblical stories of Jesus with Scripture reference and correlating lesson on how we can model our behavior like Jesus today.Jesus Sees Us is a wonderful tool to help your child foster a personal relationship with Jesus at a very young age that will last a lifetime.

We loved our Jesus Sees Us Doll and Book it would be a perfect Easter basket stuffer. Gavin sleeps with his doll and Christian wants a doll too so I may have to purchase another one. Paleo Pancakes!

My first experience eating healthier and cooking healthier for my family came when I made Paleo Pancakes. It led us on a new path one that began kept us eating, living and feeling healthier.

PALEO PANCAKES

Ingredients

Makes 10 servings

 

                       

1 1/2 cups almond meal

                                        

2 eggs

                       

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

                       

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

                       

1/2 cup applesauce

                       

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 cup coconut milk, or more as needed

                

1 teaspoon olive oil, for frying                                                    

 

Topping                                                                     

                       

1 cup strawberries

 

PREP

10 mins            

COOK
20 mins          

READY IN

30 mins

Directions

1. Mix together almond flour, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, applesauce, baking powder, and coconut milk in a bowl.
2. Lightly oil a griddle and place over medium-high heat. Drop batter by large spoonfuls onto the griddle and cook until bubbles form and the edges of pancake are dry. Flip and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
3. Puree strawberries in a food processor until smooth. Top pancakes with pureed strawberries.
